Terms of sale
Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply to purchases made at https://marloweandjames.com. When you place an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. They are written to sit alongside the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

1. Who you are buying from

SIRET: 844 465 005 00016
VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

2. Our pieces
Every product page shows a description, the key details and the price. We do our best to show each piece as it really is, but colours can look a little different depending on your screen and the light. That doesn't affect your rights if a piece is faulty or doesn't match its description.

3. Prices and GST
Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). Where GST applies, it is included in the price shown. The full total, including shipping, is shown before you pay. The price shown when you confirm your order is the price you pay.

4. Payment
You pay through our secure checkout, using the payment methods shown there. Payments are handled by secure payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Your order
Once you place an order you will receive a confirmation email. We start preparing your order when payment is confirmed. If we suspect fraud or spot an obvious pricing error, we may cancel an order. If we do, we will let you know and refund anything you have paid.

6. Shipping and delivery
Shipping is free across Australia. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and delivered in an estimated 6–12 business days. More detail is in our Shipping policy.

7. Our 30-day guarantee
If you aren't completely happy, you can return your order within 30 days of receiving it. This is our own promise to you and it is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Returns and refunds page for how it works.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

9. Questions and complaints
Please talk to us first at contact.marloweandjames@gmail.com. We would like to put things right. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state or territory consumer protection agency or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au.

10. Your personal information
We handle your information as described in our Privacy policy.

11. Governing law
For customers in Australia, these terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory where you live. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you.

Returns and refunds
Last updated: 8 October 2026

We want you to love what you ordered. If you don't, we will do our best to make it right.

1. Our 30-day guarantee
If you aren't completely happy, you can return your order within 30 days of receiving it for a refund. This is a promise we make voluntarily, on top of your legal rights.

2. A note on cooling-off periods
In Australia there is no general cooling-off period that lets you cancel an online purchase just because you changed your mind. That is why our 30-day guarantee matters: it is our way of giving you that peace of mind.

3. Your statutory rights (Australian Consumer Law)
Separately from our guarantee, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a piece arrives faulty, is not of acceptable quality, does not match its description or is not fit for the purpose we described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and in the case of a major failure you can choose a replacement or a refund. These rights apply whether or not the 30-day window has passed, and the remedy will not cost you anything.

4. Condition of your piece (30-day guarantee)
Unworn and in its original condition;
With all tags attached;
In its original packaging where possible.
You are welcome to try a piece on to check the fit and feel.

5. How to return something
Email contact.marloweandjames@gmail.com with your order number.
We will email you the return instructions and the return address.
Post your piece with a tracked service and keep your receipt.
Please contact us before sending anything back.

6. Return freight
30-day guarantee returns (change of mind, fit or preference): the return shipping cost is paid by you.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or not-as-described items: we cover the return cost.

7. Refunds
Once we have received and checked your return, we will refund you to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to show it on your statement.

8. Exchanges
Would you like a different size or style? Just ask. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

9. Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
